As our world rapidly changes, the electric grid is at the heart of nearly every one of these turns, forks, or bridges in the roadway to the future. At Green Mountain Electric, I use the skills and knowledge I have gained over the past 15 years in the electrical industry to provide electric solutions with two main goals:
First, offer modern, professional electric services to the end user in residential and small commercial settings by designing and installing sustainable, efficient electric systems that endure the tests of time and innovation.
Second, operating as a manufacturing representative to broker long-term construction contracts for growing utility companies. By connecting innovative large scale contractors with power plants in need of the upgrades and regular maintenance required to meet increased electrical capacity and real-time grid analytics, Green Mountain Electric can help provide the world with stable electricity that powers the modern way of life.
Meet the Team
Eric Schicho, licensed journeyman electrician and owner of Green Mountain Electric, began his electrical career in 2012 selling repair and new construction contracts to utility power plants. Fascinated by the industry's ability to provide consistent on demand electricity he became passionate about the benefits of renewable energy. In 2015 he began designing and selling grid-tied solar systems, turning residential roof tops into power plants of their own. His need for developing a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of his work led him to pursue his electrical license while installing self-regulated off-grid systems around the inland Northwest. These experiences cultivated a deep understanding of how the world produces, transports, and uses electricity. This thorough knowledge of electrical design sets him apart from the everyday electrician.
Rocky Olson, a master electrician with over 40 years of experience in the electrical industry and brings a wealth of knowledge to impart on the next generation of electricians with Green Mountain Electric. He is consistent in finding the most affordable, efficient methods to achieve your electrical goals or identify and solve any electrical problems you may face.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN A PRE-WIRED SYSTEM PURCHASE:
1) Determining the electrical consumption needs of your home or property.
2) Confirm if off-grid solar is a fit for your property and electrical needs.
3) Designing a top to bottom off-grid electrical system to include a materials list, wiring diagram, installation guide. All GME pre-wire systems require only 4 wire connections to be safely powered on.
4) All Pre-wire system sales include 4 hours of remote consultation to ensure your system is installed safely and functioning properly.
